Great Divine Mother! Known mostly by her Greek name of Isis, her ancient Kemetic name is Auset/Aset which translates to "Queen of the Throne" and is the personification of Cosmic Order. She is called she of 10,000 names and is most known for her powers of motherhood, magic, fertility and healing.
It is said that she has the power to create and destroy by speaking things into being. Auset is considered the most powerful of all the ancient Neteru/deities.
One can see scenes of Auset in the hieroglyphs all throughout Ancient Egypt. Our September pilgrimage will take us to the island of Philea the location of her most important temple. It was here that her religion remained alive and flourished for 500 years after the Roman conquest.
Here the temple walls contain scenes from Egyptian mythology of Isis bringing Osiris back to life, giving birth to Horus, and mummifying Osiris after his death.
There is a remembrance and activation that happens when one journeys through these temples. They activate our own inner magic and ability to powerfully co-create.
