Aset & Nebet-Het

A place for whatever your heart is carrying.
Welcome to this ceremony of remembrance with Heather & Donny. Whether you are returning after joining us live or experiencing it for the first time, we invite you to settle in and receive at your own pace.
Together, we honor our ancestors and beloved dead, acknowledge our personal losses, and offer prayers for the sorrows of the world.

Within the Ceremony
We light a flame of remembrance and pour ancestral libations, honoring those whose lives and love have shaped our own.
Through invocation of Aset and Nebet-Het, sacred lament, and a sound healing journey, we make room for sorrow, tenderness, love, and silence.
You are welcome to speak names, weep, make sound, move gently, or simply listen. There is nothing you need to share or explain, and no particular feeling you need to reach.
Prepare Your Space
Set aside some quiet time and find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. If you wish, gather:
-
A candle and matches.
-
A pitcher of fresh water and a separate receiving bowl for libations.
-
A photograph, flowers, or an object of remembrance.
-
Drinking water, a journal, and a blanket or cushions.
Your presence is enough. These offerings are invitations, and you can participate without them.
After the Ceremony
Give yourself a little time before returning to your day. Drink water, stretch gently, rest, or step outside.
If you poured a fresh-water libation, you may return it to the soil or a plant with gratitude.
You might reflect on:
What am I remembering with love?
What still asks for tenderness?
What small act of care can I offer myself or another?
Return to the ceremony whenever you feel called, pausing or revisiting sections as you need.
With love and remembrance,
Heather & Donny
