You’ll receive in-depth training in Reiki Levels 1 & 2, including personalized attunements, intuitive energy practices, and hands-on healing techniques. Our experienced guides will support you every step of the way, helping you build confidence, clarity, and connection as a Reiki practitioner.
Each day includes guided meditations, energy activations, and sacred ceremony—all designed to help you embody the healer you came here to be.
Reiki: An Introduction to Healing Light
Reiki is a profound healing practice that channels universal life energy to promote balance, healing, and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. The word "Reiki" is derived from Japanese, where "Rei" means universal and "Ki" means life force energy.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is based on the understanding that life energy flows through all living beings and that this energy can be harnessed to restore harmony and health. It works by laying hands lightly on or near the recipient’s body to channel healing energy, which helps to release blockages, reduce stress, and support the body's natural healing processes. Reiki is gentle and non-invasive, and it can be used alongside other treatments to enhance their effectiveness.

Level 1 Attunement
The Reiki Level 1 attunement introduces the practitioner to the basics of Reiki and involves learning to channel energy through their hands. During this level:
- Initiation: You will receive an attunement from a Reiki Master, which is a ritual that opens your energy channels, allowing you to connect with the universal life energy more effectively.
- Learning: You will be taught basic hand positions for self-healing and healing others, and how to use your hands to sense and direct energy.
- Practice: You'll gain practical experience by performing hands-on healing, and you'll also practice self-healing techniques to balance your own energy.
Level 2 Attunement
Reiki Level 2, also known as the Practitioner Level, deepens your connection to the energy and introduces new techniques:
- Advanced Attunements: You will receive additional attunements that enhance your ability to channel energy and increase its effectiveness.
- Symbols and Mantras: You will learn specific Reiki symbols and mantras that help to focus and amplify the energy. These symbols are used to perform distance healing and work with different aspects of energy.
- Distance Healing: You will be taught how to send Reiki energy over a distance, allowing you to heal people who are not physically present.
- Ethics and Professionalism: The level 2 training often includes guidance on ethical practice and how to offer Reiki professionally.
Both levels of Reiki attunements aim to open and clear your energy channels, making you a more effective conduit for healing energy. The journey through Reiki is both a personal and professional one, as it enhances your intuitive abilities, deepens your self-awareness, and aligns you with the universal flow of life energy.
I went into this retreat hoping to release some emotional weight and deepen my Reiki practice, but what I experienced went far beyond my expectations. Heather & Donny
Heather and Donny are the visionary creators of the acclaimed Mystical Alchemy, a prayerformance ministry that holds a sacred space for transformation and spiritual awakening.
Both Reiki Masters and ordained clergy of the Temple of Isis and Fellowship of Isis, their united passion for reaching higher frequencies has led them to share their gift to humanity by opening the doors of Black Swan Temple.
Based in Maui, Hawaii, the temple is a safe space for those who are looking for an intimate and profound retreat experience. Their programs are curated to support their clients in harnessing their spiritual gifts and self mastery through yoga, sound healing, as well as the Sevenfold Path of Peace, Non Violent Communication and delicious plant based cuisine.
In addition, they also offer Mystery School Training, Sacred Sound & Cacao Ceremonies and have created dozens of HypnoSound Healing journeys, music, CDs and award winning experimental films in their 12 years together.
