The Swan Dahabiya
Sailing the Nile in Sacred Partnership
We are honored to journey with our beloved Egyptian partners aboard The Swan Dahabiya — a magnificent river vessel named in tribute to our own Black Swan Temple.
The Swan
Graceful, spacious, and elegantly designed, The Swan is the longest, widest, and most luxurious dahabiya on the Nile. Crafted with artistry and care, it offers a sanctuary of serenity and comfort as we sail through the timeless landscapes of ancient Egypt.
Our 2027 Pilgrimage will include a 10-day private sail aboard The Swan, where ceremony, relaxation, and reflection weave together in harmony with the river’s flow. Each day reveals temples, villages, and sacred sites that can only be reached by the gentle rhythm of this traditional sailboat — inviting us to slow down, breathe deeply, and align with the pulse of life itself.

Sound & Breath — The Art of Sekhem Activation
In the temples of Egypt, vibration was medicine. Through breath and sacred tone, the priest-healers harmonized the flow of sekhem, the vital current of life. During our journey, we will tone within the resonant chambers of stone, awakening the inner temple of sound within each pilgrim.
Sacred Oils & Herbs — The Alchemy of Fragrance
The Egyptian pharmacopoeia was a sacred science. Blue lotus, myrrh, frankincense, and papyrus were used to open gateways of perception and anoint the subtle body. We’ll work with these aromatic allies, consecrated through ritual, to attune our energy and deepen our connection with the divine.
Prayer & Invocation — The Power of the Word
In the Egyptian tradition, words were living forces of creation. Each prayer was a precise vibration calling upon the Neters—divine archetypes—to restore harmony. Through collective prayer and chant, we become conduits of divine grace, co-creating healing through sound and intention.
Ritual & Integration — Living in Sacred Alignment
True initiation continues beyond the temples. The ancient path teaches us to live as embodied mystics—aligning our lifestyle, diet, and rhythms with the Sun, Moon, and Stars. The pilgrimage becomes a living mirror, guiding us to transform everyday life into sacred art.
This trip was extraordinary. Just life-changing. Heather and Donny created a trip that was perfect in every detail from the ancient sites to the food to the amazing people in our group to the boat to our guide. In 13 days we went from being strangers to becoming family, sharing sacred moments in the ancient temples, music drumming and dance, and outrageous laughter. This experience has changed me forever.

This was a wonderful experience! Besides all the experiences an Egypt trip can offer, we had multiple private entrances to temples and the Great Pyramid along with meditations in sacred places that only this spiritual couple could offer. Mohammed is the best guide while also finding comfortable places for us to rest while sightseeing. The hotels are top notch, the boat was our floating oasis between activities and the food was great. I wish I could do this trip again!

I had an awesome experience. Everything from when I arrived to my departure was well planned out. The food and hotels where we stayed were top notch. The tours through the pyramids, camel ride, hot air balloon, jeep ride through desert and private boat ride down the Nile where exceptional not to mention adventurous. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Egypt. The group of people that also attended the trip were fun and easy to get along with.
