Our lavender is in full bloom rewarding the farm with a heavenly scent and vibrant purple shades. Lavender thrives in warm and sunny climates, and that makes Hawaii the perfect environment to grow them. Its signature scent will draw anyone in, which perfectly matches the warm, bright, and sociable nature of Geminis. Lavender is associated with the great communicator Gemini. It also represents serenity, grace, good fortune, and protection.
Like the air sign’s dynamic energy, Lavender also blooms many benefits. In culinary, particularly the English Lavender or Lavandula Angustifolia, this species can be a perfect addition to your salad, lemonade, or soup. It’s often used as tea too for those with sleeping issues and aromatherapy to feel refreshed upon waking. One can use it to purify and freshen up the energy of a room. It is even a great mosquito repellent. Lavender is highly effective as its accentuating and strong essence keeps insects away. In addition, lavender can also be applied topically to aid in some skin conditions due to its antibacterial properties.
We are about to harvest some of it and distill a hydrosol from it for this weekend's Gemini New Moon next week’s Solstice festivities so that we can fully immerse ourselves in this zestful season.
